Why marinaadia

What a measured approach offers.

Costs stated in advance

The fee for each service is set before work begins. There are no billing surprises at the end of the matter.

Client consulted throughout

No correspondence goes out, no submission is filed, without the client being informed and given the opportunity to consider.

Plain-language documentation

Every written summary and folder is prepared in ordinary language the client can read at home, without legal training.

Singapore-specific knowledge

All work is grounded in Singapore pension legislation, CPF rules, and the civil procedures that apply in this jurisdiction.

A pace that suits the client

Pension matters take the time they take. The firm does not press the client toward decisions before they are ready.

Family members are welcome

For estate and coordination work, family members may attend sittings — so the arrangements are understood by those who will carry them out.

Would a first sitting help clarify your position?

A Pension Mooring Sitting costs SGD 180 and leaves you with a written summary of your situation — whether or not you choose to proceed further.

Common Questions

Things people often ask before a first sitting.

Do I need to have all my documents ready before the first sitting?
Not at all. The purpose of the first sitting is to gather what you have and identify what may be needed. Bring what you can find — pension statements, letters from the CPF Board or a former employer, correspondence about a withholding decision. The written summary produced afterwards will note what is in hand and what it would be helpful to locate.
What happens after the first sitting? Am I committed to further work?
The first sitting stands on its own. You receive the written summary and then decide, at home and in your own time, whether you would like to proceed. There is no pressure to continue. If you do wish to take the next step, the scope and cost of that work are set out clearly before anything begins.
What if my pension is already being withheld — how quickly can the firm act?
If there is some time pressure in your matter, please say so when you make contact. The firm will try to arrange an early sitting. Once engaged, correspondence is prepared and sent as the matter requires. Formal processes in Singapore pension cases do follow a measured timeline — the firm keeps you informed at each step.
Can a family member come with me to the sitting?
Yes. For the estate and coordination service in particular, it is often helpful to have a family member present so that arrangements are understood by those who will be involved. For the pension sittings, a family member is welcome if you would find that supportive.
How is the fee for the withholding case service structured?
The SGD 455 covers the firm's representation for the matter as scoped after the first sitting — correspondence, preparation of any formal submissions, and attendance at any process. If the scope changes materially, this is discussed with you before any additional cost is incurred.
Is the information I share with the firm kept confidential?
All information shared with the firm is subject to legal professional privilege and strict confidentiality obligations under Singapore law. Nothing is disclosed to any third party without your express consent, except where required by law.
